It started with a knitting class, a best friend, and a Christmas that changed everything.
In 2023, Denise picked up knitting as a way to find peace during a difficult year. What started as a quiet hobby turned into a discovery — a yarn unlike anything she had seen before. With a unique inner fill that creates a sculptural, three-dimensional, puffy effect, it was something that simply doesn't exist anywhere else in Canada.
She called her best friend Carolina.
Together, they ordered the yarn, knitted the first bags by hand, and took them to a local market. They sold every single one before Christmas. People couldn't stop touching them, asking about them, coming back for more.
That's when Glowee was born.
Today, every bag, headband, and pet bed is still made by hand — by the two of us, in our studio in Vancouver. Every stitch is placed with intention. Every color is chosen with love. And every piece is made to order, because we believe you deserve something that was made just for you.
Glowee isn't just a bag. It's a feeling. It's the way you walk into a room and feel like the most beautiful version of yourself. It's the glow you had all along.
